What happened
Perth Airport has begun trials of its P1 transportation hub, which will replace the Terminal 1 forecourt road as the terminal’s main access point. All Terminal 1 passenger pickup and drop-off will move to the hub once it opens.
Why it matters: The new facility is planned to provide 70% more pickup and drop-off bays, potentially expanding landside capacity for Terminal 1 users.
